Are you All-In?

Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God's handiwork or His masterpiece. Imagine the exactness of a good carpenter’s measurements, the care taken, and attention to detail on his/her handiwork. When the carpenter does good work, the handiwork is solid, aesthetically pleasing, and built according to the purpose in which it was created. How about an artist and his/her masterpiece? The artist actualizes what he/she has visualized by creating art. God did the same thing with us. He envisioned what He wanted to create. Genesis 1:26 states that God The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit got together and decided to create us in His Image. Not only did they envision the image of Man, but they also determined the purpose of Man. After the completion of Man, God looked His creation over and declared that it was good (Genesis 1:31). Similarly, after a carpenter and an artist has completed their work, they look it over to determine whether their creation, their handiwork, their masterpiece is good. Does an artist showcase a partial painting or unfinished work? What would happen if a carpenter halfway builds the structure of a house? We were created to worship God by bringing or giving Him glory in everything we do. He died for us. So we must live for Him. You can exhibit God in your everyday living. This is how you glorify him. There's no partially serving God or following Jesus Christ. You either serve him or you don't, Love God or hate God (Matthew 6:24) There's no grey area or in between. It's either yes or no, hot or cold, you will or you won't. For example, there's iced coffee or hot coffee. Have you ever had room temperature coffee, soda, milk? Is it called hot cocoa or room temperature cocoa? It's not too appetizing, right?

This week’s topic is being All-In for God. We will discuss the importance of being all-in, what being all-in for God looks like by studying examples, and ways to glorify God in everyday living.

PRAYER

Lord,

Thank You for Your grace and mercy. Help us to not only declare you as our Savior, but also our Lord. Open our spiritual eyes and ears and soften our hearts to understand that Your Lordship is our best option and the only option to receive Your anointing, the abundance You have for us, and to remain covered and in Your presence. Thank you for the revelation that will arise while discussing this topic. It is in Jesus’s name I pray.

AMEN.
